We all had a great experience working with your team while we are there, the kids are hooked on learning to kite surf and I hope when we come back next year we will be needed more advance lessons and buys some cool kiteboarding gear from you!! Trying to learn Kitesurfing as a German on Maui is like trying to learn skiing on a steep, icy wall with a lot of bumps. So I was honestly pretty scared when I took my first lesson with Brett. But he did great! He showed me everything what I needed to know. How to build up the Kite, how to fix the lines, how to steer the kite and so on and so on. He did this with passion and patience and - what has been most important for me - with a good structure and a perfect teaching method. He repeated all the things we have been gone through in the previous lesson and gave me safety with this. So everything went smooth! The service he offered was also very good! All in all I really can recommend KSM to everybody because I can compare it with a kiteboarding school in Egypt where I made no good experiences. So I would like to say "Thank you" to Jennifer and Brett. Viele Grüße from Germany and see you, Thilo PS: I almost forgot to mention that the equipment you gave me for the kite lessons has been very good and technically perfect. No comparison to the "junk" they gave me in Egypt.

Hi Jennifer; Yes, we had a great time. Brett and Patrick really hit it off. Patrick really liked how he instructed and had great success. And me, well, I'll keep trying. Just spent a few days in the snow in Montreal and Calgary. Now back in the rain in Vancouver. We sure miss the sun on the island. Please pass on our thanks to Brett for a great experience. Cody was fantastic! I really had a great time and love the sport thanks to him ... after my not so good experience with another school.

Hi Jennifer It was a great experience and Rick is such a great teacher! I did lessons back in Canada and at the Gorge in Hood River and by far Rick was the best instructor. You have a great group of people working for you. Charles was always helpful on the beach. We will always recommend KSM to anyone we know who wants to learn how to kiteboard. All the best Nikki

Jen, I had an amazing experience a per Cody I am not a kiteboarder. This has been a goal of mine for quite some time and I couldn't be happier! Just got off the water with Cody. If your instructor is not in the water with you, run away. I have a long ways to go butngotmusmand rode after a few hours IN THE WATER, with Cody. I saw a lot of struggling students with instructors yelling from the shore. Not fun. KSMaui does it right.

Hi Jennifer, Just wanted to say thank you for the great experience, even though the wind was not very consistent. Tim is an excellent instructor, we were able to get only 3.5 hours total but he kept in touch with me the whole time even till last day (we fly back this afternoon). Paul Franco is a top notch instructor with unparalleled passion for the sport of kitesurfing. He understands the need for graduated instruction and development of skills and safety. This is a rare art in a sport that is complicated yet so incredibly fun and addictive. I have had instruction all over the world and Paul is the most competent and fun teacher i have met!

many thanks to the team at KS Maui for all their help over my 5 days of lessons. Jennifer was very helpful in organizing the trip, hotel and lessons. Aaron was an excellent instructor who took me from complete beginner to being able to get up and go within 5 days. I will definitely be back in three months and would highly recommend KS Maui to anyone going to Maui to learn.

Hi Monte, Thanks again for a great experience in my efforts to learn the beginnings of kite surfing. I really wish that I could have had a 2 day break and then returned to work with you for an additional 3 days. I think that may have launched me to a significantly new level. But I am thrilled with where I get to with all thanks to you. I like your style and what you said sunk in. I wrote down everything I retained from our time...from walking out the kite strings while facing the ocean (staying alert for tother kiters) to allowing my arms to release when the kite pulls me up at 2 o'clock (rather than "pull" myself up for a bad ending!). I hope to return within the year to get some more days in. Rick

"I am just back from Maui and what a week it has been. The staff at the Neil Pryde center was friendly and receptive. The equipment was excellent. Excellence is the word that also fits KSM. Jennifer was very patient talking to me (which is not always easy on account of my english) and my two sons had the chance to get their lessons from two of the best sports teachers I have ever met (Monty and Raquel). Actually I am so pleased with my Maui vacation that I need some more time to confirm Jeri. I may go back to Maui in October. I will think about it for a week and let you know. Thank you."

I just wanted to thank you and KSM for allowing me to leave Maui a kiteboarder. I wasn't really a kiteboarder when I got here. But I am now, and I look forward to going back to Vancouver and continuing to improve so when I get back here I'm ready for more advanced lessons. Aaron was a great instructor. He got me up and going quickly and continued to refine my riding after each run. He has an easy going demeanor and is a great coach and a great guy. I'm sorry he was sick for my last lesson. But Paul was great as well. Paul built on what Aaron had started and began adding more technical direction. Again, a great guy and great coach. The two guys I referred to you (shoemaker and Webster) also had a great experience with their lessons and instructors. You obviously have sone a great job recruiting the best of the best. I will continue to sing the praises of KSM (and Aaron and Paul) and I look forward to more advanced lessons next time (now that I'm a kiteboarder). Thanks for everything. Greg

Thanks for everything and for pairing me up with Aaron. I am involved in medical education so am always curious about how people learn and what makes an effective teacher good. Aaron has all the cognitive skills of a gifted teacher as well as the obvious talents of a seasoned kite boarder so sure he is a great asset to your wonderful school.
