I just wanted to thank you for all the help and support. KSM is definitely the
school to go in Maui (and Maui is the place to go for kitesurfing ;) ). Your
service is tailored fit, the Savile row of kitesurfing! You care for people to
actually learn and enjoy kitesurfing rather than just churning people around
and racking up the hours! It is the second time I take the beginners course
and Paul Franco is the best teacher EVER. He is a real teacher because he
really cares for you to learn. He never ever looked at his watch and he only
gets happy when he sees you riding! You are the true hawaiian spirit.

the beach, and Karen was really comfortable working with Paul as he had the

Hi Martin,
I wanted to thank you for setting up my lessons with Darian a few weeks ago
in Maui. I had an absolutely amazing time. On the last day, I got up on my
board, which was exhilarating... just a few days earlier, I had never flown a
kite.

Besides going up on my board, I enjoyed the whole experience from
beginning to end. I felt like I made progress each day, and that I got strong
instruction in safety and fundamentals that I can bring with me for a long
time.

Darian is total joy to take lessons from. I had so much fun at the same time
as learning a lot. He's an excellent teacher... I'd say a gifted teacher. Thanks
for pairing me up with him. I did not expect to learn from such a high caliber
kiteboarder or such a kind person. :-)

Finally, thanks for arranging that I learn on new equipment with all the gear
that I need, from shoes to harness to drinking water.

KSM exceeded my expectations... I have already recommended to people I
know that they come to Maui and look up your school. I can't wait to come
back myself! I would love to learn from Darian again if I am an intermediate
kiteboarder one day. I'll also check with you when I am ready to buy a kite as
I can tell that your business is very reliable.

I had a ton of pleasant time learning this most fascinating hobby, and would
like to thank you and Darian personally as you guys were not only instructors
but also became good friends, and thus I will definitely recommend you to

I just finished a three day/10 hour beginner instructional course offered
through your school. I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with the
level of professionalism and integrity that your school holds. Your method of
teaching indoors and then applying the skills outside on the beach and in the
water was excellent! I went from a desk job corporate executive with no
previous kiting experience to shredding in 10 hours! Unbelievable! I think
that in my instructor's own words "Dude you were going Mach 5! I thought
you were going to explode, but you just held on and started to edge!"
Speaking of my instructor....Niccolo Porcella....he was absolutely outstanding!
His teaching skills are brilliant! If he can teach me, he can teach anyone! He
was so professional in every aspect of his instruction. His patience was also
second to none! If he was working for me, I would be sure to overpay him.
He is worth every penny that he is making! Niccolo is a man who is mentally
years ahead of his age. I feel very fortunate to have been paired with his
