Gift Certificates
KSM Gift Certificates are redeemable in-store only at KSM on Maui, Hawaii and are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Please contact us prior to this end date if you wish to extend this period. Gift Certificate refunds are made only to the original purchaser.
Lesson Cancellation Requirements
We require 48 hour's notice prior to the lesson start to change or cancel your online, telephone or in-person reservation. Reservations cancelled outside of 48 hours are fully refundable. Reservations cancelled with less than 48 hour's notice don't allow enough time to resell the cancelled lessons and will be assessed a 50% cancellation fee.
No-shows will be assessed a 100% cancellation fee. If you need to change or cancel your reservation please provide us 48 hour's notice prior to your lesson time and we will be happy to accommodate you. If KSM cancels a lesson due to weather and KSM is unable to reschedule lessons due to lack of available instructors, KSM would refund lesson charge in full, provide a store credit or a rain check as requested by the client.
Lesson Meet Time and Place
Lesson start time is selected during the reservation process and we encourage clients to contact KSM at 808-873-0015 the day before their scheduled lesson to confirm the meet time, which could be amended due to weather. As a reminder, we encourage all beginners to select the 10am-2pm lesson to avoid the stronger afternoon winds, more crowded ocean, and to avoid having to stare into the afternoon sun.
Lesson Vouchers
Lesson vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Please contact us prior to this end date if you wish to extend this period. Lesson vouchers are refundable if lessons are canceled outside of 48 hours prior to the lesson start.
